about me
My name is Alois Láznička, and I am originally a law graduate whose passion for painting and drawing has accompanied me since childhood. Throughout my life, I have sought ways to approach the style of the old masters, even though I long believed that traditional painting techniques were no longer taught anywhere.
A turning point came when I discovered the Florence Academy of Art, which builds on the roots of classical painting. I completed a six-week workshop there, which set me on the path I wish to follow for the rest of my life. To deepen my knowledge, I then dedicated three years to intensive studies at the Barcelona Academy of Art, where I completed the full academic program.
During my studies in Barcelona, I received several scholarships, including a teaching scholarship, which gave me the opportunity to teach and pass on my knowledge. This experience confirmed for me that teaching art is not only my profession but also a calling that I wish to pursue upon returning to my homeland.
Beyond studying and teaching, I also exhibited my works and participated in school competitions, achieving several successes.
My goal is not only to create but also to inspire and pass on the skills I have gained to future generations, ensuring that the tradition of classical painting remains alive and accessible.
